The accident might have left you with injuries, and you could be in pain or even be out of work while you still need to cover medical expenses. Handling of Lyft injuries claims is different from other automobile injuries claims, but they typically cover fractures, internal bleeding, whiplash, spinal cord injuries, back injuries, head and neck injuries, and traumatic brain injuries.
Depending on the situation, you may sue and receive compensation for the following:

Whose Insurance Pays for a Dawsonville Lyft Accident?
Employers are usually responsible for accidents involving their employees who drive for work. But rideshare companies such as Lyft consider their drivers as independent contractors and not employees. On the other hand, the driver’s insurance contract considers the car as a personal use vehicle of which ride-sharing is not; this situation creates coverage gaps.
If you’re involved in a car accident and another driver is at fault, you’re required to file a third-party claim with their car insurance carrier. However, unless the driver has a commercial policy, insurance carriers often deny accident claims made under a personal policy in the event of an accident while the rideshare driver has a customer.
Luckily, Lyft addressed this complicated scenario by providing liability insurance to their drivers that take charge when the driver’s insurance carrier refuses the claim. Therefore, Lyft can take financial responsibility for car accident injuries when you are taking a ride with a Lyft driver.
