Recover Compensation for Your Uber Accident Damages
Did you know that a recent report from 2019 shows that the majority of Americans can’t afford an unexpected expense of as little as $400? Don’t go into financial ruins over an accident that wasn’t your fault. There are many damages that you can compensate for after your Uber accident. Here are a few of the most common that our lawyers often see.
Medical Expenses
Medical expenses make up the bulk of most personal injury settlements, including Uber accidents. Medical expenses will typically include economic damages such as:
- Medical equipment
- Prescriptions
- Hospital stays or visits
- Specialist visits
- ER visits
- Physical and psychological therapy
The list can go on and on depending on the types of injuries you suffer after an Uber accident. As long as you keep your invoices and bills, it will be easy to factor in all the medical expenses you incurred and get you reimbursed for them.
Lost Wages
After your Uber accident, you may find yourself unable to work either temporarily or permanently. Regardless of your working situation, you will miss out on getting paid at no fault of your own. When we calculate your settlement, our lawyers will factor in all the lost wages you incurred due to your inability to work.
Non-Economic Damages
Non-economic damages aren’t fixed in value. In other words, there’s no set price or standard as to how much they’re worth. Non-economic damages typically consist of:
- Pain and suffering
- Emotional trauma and mental anguish
- Loss of consortium or enjoyment of life
- Wrongful death
- Disability or disfigurement
While there’s no way to put a price on life or how it should be lived, we hope to ensure that you receive the financial compensation you deserve after your accident so that you can move forward with your life.
Don’t Trust the Insurance Company to Do the Right Thing
Insurance companies are known to be unforgiving and cheap when it comes to settlement payouts. Any insurance company will do everything in its power to pay you the bare minimum for your settlement. To make matters worse, they often have very strong legal resources that can allow them to get away with doing so.
To even the odds of negotiating settlements, you’ll need a strong lawyer to represent you. Don’t underestimate the lengths an insurance company will go to pay you less than what you truly deserve. Never accept their initial offer and always fight to get a fair settlement.

You Can Trust Us to Fight Hard for You
Our Uber accident lawyers in Stone Mountain have years of experience handling all types of car accident cases. Even if you weren’t the driver and riding a rideshare service like Uber, that doesn’t mean our lawyers can’t help you. While you can fight for your claim alone, doing so puts you at risk of getting a substantially lower settlement.
Our client testimonials show how much we dedicate ourselves to our clients. With more than $1 billion recovered in settlements and verdicts, we always work hard and put our clients’ needs first above anything else. With no upfront fees, there’s no risk in getting a free consultation from us to assess all your legal options.
Statute of Limitations for Uber Accidents in Georgia
OCGA § 9-3-33 provides Uber accident victims in Stone Mountain two years to file a claim. Once that two-year deadline passes, there’s little you can do to receive compensation. This is why it’s critical that you take action immediately. You should always strive to get legal help right after seeking medical treatment.
We don’t recommend that you blindly file your claim, but that doesn’t mean you should take too long either. Many people have lost their chance at getting a settlement because they sat on their case too long. As time goes on, it becomes harder to collect evidence or get your claim in proper order. Don’t waste any time and get started with your claim as soon as possible.
