Amy A. FergusonAttorney
Amy A. Ferguson graduated from the University of North Carolina Charlotte in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Minor in English. She then attended Georgia State University College of Law. She is currently a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
Amy was born in North Carolina and has made her home in Atlanta since 2000. Before joining John Foy & Associates, she served as the Managing Attorney for the Special Victims Unit in the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to that, she served as the Deputy District Attorney heading the Crimes Against Women and Children Unit in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. In addition to trying serial offenders and high- profile cases, she supervised approximately 16 attorneys and an additional 17 investigators and paralegal staff members in prosecuting about 700 cases per year. In addition, she trained attorneys state-wide on prosecuting and litigating cases involving women and children.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and their Siberian Husky, Elsa.
