The most common complaint from people out of town about Atlanta is the traffic. We are either caught in deadlock or we speed much faster than the surrounding areas. In some areas, going the speed limit can make you go so much slower than the rest of traffic that you become a danger!
But excessive speeding does kill. A young Lithonia man found that out the hard way when he was involved in a crash. The man was driving a Lamborghini on Browns Mill Road, a two-lane road. According to a witness, the driver tried to overtake him in the passing lane. He struck another car head on. The vehicle when on to strike two other vehicles, flipped off the road, hit a tree, then caught fire.
Three others were injured in the crash. The driver of the Lamborghini was killed. The investigators believe that excessive speeding may have played a role in the fatality.
Even if you know a road very well, conditions can change at any time. By sticking to the speed limit you’ll be safer. And if you are caught in a crash, you’ll have a better chance in court because you stuck to the road laws.
