WGXA News reported recently that an accident took place in Macon, GA on the morning of New Year’s Eve that slowed traffic at a busy local intersection.
The accident took place at Eisenhower Parkway and Bloomfield Road, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and responding EMS crews, between 10:20 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Officials have not yet released any other details about what caused the accident, if there were any injuries, or any other details regarding the accident. Traffic flow was reportedly restored to normal later that morning after first responders handled cleanup and investigation.
The accident is still under active investigation and eyewitnesses or those with relevant information are asked to contact investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
