A tractor trailer going full speed slammed into a carry-out restaurant on Scenic Highway this morning. The rig crossed over southbound lanes and into a strip mall where it ended up hitting the building.
There was no indication as to whether or not the driver suffered from some medical condition that made him lose control of the vehicle, or if his fatal injuries were caused by the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
No other injuries were reported.
