NBC Channel 41 News reported recently that a tragic motor vehicle accident in Bibb County killed a pedestrian along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Wednesday, January 27.
According to a news release issued by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place between 6:15 p.m. and 6:25 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 on the 4100 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Macon, Georgia. A man was hit by a vehicle along the roadway and taken to The Medical Center, Navicent Health, where he was in critical condition. The victim, a man 25 years of age, later succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the accident.
No details have been released about the vehicle that hit the pedestrian or the person driving it. The accident is still under investigation.
