The AJC reported yesterday on a crash that happened in Gwinnett County near Jimmy Carter Boulevard on I-85. A man from New York was arrested for driving the wrong way and getting into a head-on collision. He was charged with DUI and other charges.
The person in the other car that he struck suffered a poor fate. He was killed in the incident. A passenger in the arrested driver’s car was also taken to the hospital for severe injuries. The New Yorker was treated for minor injuries and has since posted bail.
