Police have linked a man accused of killing his ex-wife to a Fayetteville pharmacy robbery.
John Kristofak was arrested last month following the death of his ex-wife, Donna Nations. She was found unresponsive in her Marietta home and died at the hospital. After a days-long manhunt, Kristofak was arrested at a motel in Union City.
Court records showed Kristofak had sent her disturbing emails, and she had a restraining order against him. He was charged with aggravated assault and murder in her death.
Fayetteville police worked with Cobb County law enforcement to pinpoint Kristofak as the suspect in a Rite Aid robbery. It happened at the store on North Glynn Street on Dec. 26. Police said he gave a note to pharmacy workers demanding Adderall, claiming he had a gun.
Kristofak was charged with robbery by intimidation in the latter incident.
