WMAZ CBS Channel 13 News reported recently that a student in the 8th grade at Crawford County Middle School was killed in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident Sunday afternoon.
According to officials with the Superintendent’s Office of the Crawford County School District, the incident happened between 2:20 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) in the middle Georgia area of Crawford County, just west of the cities of Macon and Warner Robins. School officials confirmed the tragic death of the teenager late Sunday night.
The Superintendent of the Crawford County School District stated that they would have school counselors and faith-based members of the community to counsel students affected by the death of the teenager, within the COVID-19 guidelines necessary to ensure health and safety of students and staff.
