Georgia, especially North Georgia, is home to a lot of motorcycle clubs. You can see groups of motorcycles touring the roads together in a pack. They can be fun to observe, but when they get into a crash bad things can happen.
An accident on 411 tangled up a whole pack of motorcycles and required three ambulances to take care of the injured. 11 Alive reported on the story.
It’s not certain what triggered the accident, but there were many injuries. Two people had to be airlifted. One person had pelvic trauma and the other had internal bleeding. Three others were taken to local hospitals and several others refused treatment at the scene.
Without knowing exactly what caused the accident, we can’t say whose fault it might have been. It could have been another vehicle, a mechanical failure on a bike, something in the road, or plain rider inattentiveness. Regardless of the reason, motorcycle riders should keep a safe distance from each other to avoid chain-reaction collisions like this.
Have you been injured on your motorcycle? Was it someone else’s fault? Motorcyclist injuries are usually more severe than drivers and may require longer care. This means more money, which is all the more reason why you should have a skilled personal injury attorney on your side.
