WMAZ Channel 13 CBS News reported recently that a recent motor vehicle accident occurred on Tuesday, December 15 in Macon, leaving a man in critical condition after crashing into a fully loaded logging truck.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a man 36 years of age is currently in critical condition at the Medical Center, Navicent Health after an accident on Eisenhower Parkway near the intersection of Eisenhower Parkway and Key Street between 7:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). The man was driving his SUV east on Eisenhower behind the logging truck when the truck stopped at an intersection in compliance with a traffic signal. The log truck began to move when the signal turned green, but the man ran into the logs on the back of the truck.
The log truck driver continued driving, unaware someone had ran into the load on his truck.
