In car accidents, personal injury, and property damage incidents, considering who is at fault is a major concern in Georgia. This is because Georgia is an “at fault” state, meaning that drivers are required to carry auto insurance. When an accident occurs, their policy will pay for damages suffered by the other party. However, determining fault can get a bit complicated. If one of the drivers broke a traffic law and the other did not, then it is likely that the driver who broke the law is at fault. If the other driver was distracted, then they are probably at fault. It can get even more complicated determining fault because in Georgia, both drivers can share a percentage of the fault in an accident.
People Magazine reports that Little Women star Minnie Ross was determined to be at fault in her fatal crash on Old National Highway.
Little Women star Ashley ‘Ms. Minnie’ Ross was confirmed to have been involved in an accident that took place at around 11 p.m. on April 26th.
The City of South Fulton Police Department confirmed that their initial investigation revealed that Ms. Ross was driving a Nissan Sentra south on Old National Highway. Her car struck the right-side curb then veered into northbound lanes, where it struck a Ford Focus head-on.
In the accident, Ms. Ross suffered from serious injuries. She was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. She succumbed to those injuries on Monday Night.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered from minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
There was initial speculation that the accident may have involved a third vehicle which left the scene. However, the investigation has revealed this was not the case.
Ross was a star on the hit reality television show Little Women: Atlanta.
