We’re so proud to announce that our founder and firm president, John Foy, has been named a trustee to his alma mater, the University of Dayton. John Foy (politics, class of ’89) was one of six new trustees starting three-year terms this July.
“I am honored and excited to be able to serve as a Trustee for the University that I love,’’ John Foy said.
The university lauded him for his many accomplishments, including being a member of the State Bar of Georgia, American Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, American Association of Justice, Atlanta Bar Association and the National Trial Lawyers Top 100.
But we know his proudest accomplishment is being the father of a current University of Dayton student.
“The University of Dayton provided a great foundation for my development and I am now enjoying my son’s experience at UD which in many ways mirrors my own experiences at the school,’’ he said.
University of Dayton is a top-tier research institute that is the second largest private university in Ohio. A Catholic university, it is one of three Marianist universities in the country. Another noted alum is former NFL Steeler coach, Chuck Noll, the first NFL coach to win four Super Bowls.
It’s no wonder John Foy chose to attend the University of Dayton, with its emphasis on service and compassion for others. As our founder and president, he set the tone for our firm, with its primary focus on ethical, compassionate legal representation for those who have been injured by someone else’s negligence.
Since our beginnings as a one-room law firm in 1999 to our current 150-plus staff in a high-rise in Atlanta’s fashionable Buckhead District, we’ve built our business and reputation one customer at a time.
