WGXA News reported recently that one person was killed and two more hospitalized during a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, January 19 in Houston County, a middle Georgia area just south of the city of Macon.
According to officials from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place between 1:25 p.m. and 1:35 p.m Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 along the 400 block of Dunbar Road, between Carl Vinson Parkway and North Houston Road, near Fellowship Bible Baptist Church. Two pickup trucks collided head-on for unknown reasons still under investigation. One truck had a single occupant, male, who was transported to Macon for medical treatment. The other truck was occupied bu a man and a woman; the man was also transported to Macon for treatment while the woman did not survive the accident.
