The Time-Leader reported on an accident near Atlanta on August 30, when three teenage girls from Ohio were killed. The accident occurred on Six Flags Parkway in Cobb County, where the three were riding with two men after reportedly journeying from Ohio to bring someone home. The car they were riding in, a black Chrysler 200, rounded a curve too fast and the driver lost control, crossing through the opposite traffic lane and off the highway before rolling over after crashing into a tree. All three girls were ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
