During the kickoff game between North Carolina State and the University of Tennessee, a football fan fell 35 feet from the upper level of the dome to his death.
The accident happened around 8:30 pm when the fan fell from the upper level, landing on another fan seated in the Mezzanine area.
The second victim was taken to the hospital and treated for non-threatening injuries and later released.
