Even during the Halloween season, people get injured. The only difference between this time of year and the others is that the people getting in the accidents are sometimes wearing costumes.
Such was the case in a hit and run accident in southeast Atlanta. A woman ran into a car that was parked on the side of the road, out of the way. The driver of the vehicle got out and investigated the damage that she’d done, as cameras recorded the whole thing.
The person who got into the wreck was apparently going to a costume party, as she was dressed as Beetlejuice. A couple of others came to help her a few moments later, and they were also in costume. They conferred, and drove off, leaving the owner of the other car with damages and nowhere to turn.
The owner of the parked car is worried about the damages that were incurred. She believes that the people responsible should pay for those damages, and the fact that they were all involved in a costume party shouldn’t let them out of the consequences.
