The morning radio host of B98.5, Kelly Stevens, was “in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
Kelly Stevens survived a crash involving an alleged drunk driver going the wrong way on Georgia Highway 400 which claimed the life of the 22-year-old driver. Stevens sustained injuries such as a broken elbow and broken leg and is currently undergoing physical therapy.
According to Stevens’ attorney, a private investigator has been assigned to the case that can prove the driver was under the influence and had been drinking at two different bars before the time of the crash. A lawsuit is being filed against the two establishments that served the young driver the alcohol despite her intoxicated state.
A toxicology report confirmed the BAC was nearly three times the legal limit.
