Over 40 staff members from John Foy & Associates recently participated in the 2016 Kaiser Permanente Corporate Run/Walk & Fitness Program. The program was designed to promote work place-organized fitness. Throughout the summer, our staff members attended an 8-week training program that included weekly fitness tips, nutrition webinars and motivational health and wellness clinics. The event culminated in a 5k run/walk on Sept. 22 through downtown Atlanta, followed by the “World’s Largest Office Party” at the Turner Field Green Lot.
This event was part of Get Active Atlanta! More than 400 companies in the Atlanta metro area participated.
Our runners (and walkers) said this was a great way to jump-start their fitness training and to give back to the community. A portion of the event benefitted the food bank, Back on My Feet and the Atlanta Braves Foundation.
Firm founder, John Foy, generously paid all registration fees for our employees and family members. John Foy & Associates is well known in the Atlanta community, both as one of our city’s most established personal injury law firms, and also as an avid participant in the Georgia community.
Our firm was built on the foundation of being of service to those who can’t help themselves. Sometimes, we get to help ourselves along the way.
“It’s a pleasure to help our community and staff with this jump-start program by Kaiser,’’ said John Foy.
