John Rogers is an Atlanta native who obtained his undergraduate degree in History and Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law and was admitted to practice in Georgia in 1994. John began his practice in South Georgia, representing individuals in a general practice. Returning to Atlanta he continued to represent individuals in criminal, domestic, workers’ compensation and personal injury matters.
In 1997 John began representing defendants as both retained counsel and as in-house counsel for a variety of insurance companies: Travelers Property Casualty, Continental Casualty (CNA), Zurich and Nationwide Insurance Companies. Additionally, he has represented a number of large corporations in matters ranging from Employment Discrimination, Commercial Trucking Collisions, Wrongful Arrest/Malicious Prosecution and Premises Liability/Security matters. He is licensed to practice in the Superior and State Courts of Georgia, all three Federal District Courts within this State, as well as appellate Courts, both State and Federal. After representing corporations in courtrooms throughout Georgia, John has joined Foy & Associates to bring his trial experience and insurance knowledge to assist Personal Injury Victims.
When not actively representing his clients, John coaches Football and Wrestling in Gwinnett County, enjoys cooking, and spending time with his family.
