Joel Schneider, an Atlanta area native, completed his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia in 2010, where he received a Bachelors in Political Science and Certificate in Computing. After graduating, Joel returned to Atlanta where he worked at John Foy and Associates as a legal assistant for approximately two years. After working in the legal field and gaining valuable experience, Joel enrolled at the University Of Alabama School Of Law.
At Alabama, he served as the Articles Editor for the Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review, volunteered as a tax preparer and mentor and clerked at a local Tuscaloosa law firm. After graduating law school in 2016, he received his license to practice law in Georgia and has since worked in various areas of law including personal injury and family law. As a family law attorney, Joel gained significant litigation experience and practiced in dozens of courts all over the state.
Joel is excited to return to work at John Foy & Associates where he can once again focus on helping the injured get their life back on track and obtain the recovery they deserve. When he is not working as an attorney, Joel enjoys spending time with his family, friends and dog, live music and the outdoors.
