Certain movie franchises glamorize street racing, but in reality, the so-called rush is dangerous and can be deadly. According to WSB, street racing may have been the real reason for a fatal crash that happened on Saturday.
So many options exist for what to do on a Saturday night. Some choose to bowl. Some choose to go out and party. Still others choose to go out and race their vehicles.
The crash happened on Saturday on I-285. Close to the Moreland exit, two Camaros were vying for position on the street. One of the drivers survived being clipped, the other driver and his two passengers didn’t.
The surviving driver faces several possible charges for the Saturday. The case is still under investigation at this time. “Whether or not street racing was a factor, that’s something traffic specialists will investigate,” the police said.
Street racing has the potential to cause all types of trouble. The lucky ones are the ones who don’t get any injuries from street racing, but most end up with injuries, and some even die. This goes beyond any additional charges which get added if there was street racing involved in the accident.
