Brooke Ray is a native of Georgia, growing up in the Roswell/Alpharetta area. She attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate studies and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2009. While attending the University of Georgia, she had the privilege of traveling to Cape Town, South Africa, with the Global L.E.A.D. Service Program. She then attended Georgia State University College of Law and obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2013. While attending Georgia State University, she served as a Moot Court Board Member as well as a Justice of the Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity and participated in the Public Interest Law Association. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and has also been admitted to practice in the Court of Appeals of Georgia and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
Brooke spent the first five years of her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in the Augusta Judicial Circuit and then the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit. As an Assistant Public Defender, she worked tirelessly to protect the rights of the accused. She has litigated cases in both trial-level courts, including magistrate court, state court, and superior court, and in appellate-level courts, including the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. She has now dedicated her practice to protecting the rights of individuals injured as a result of someone else’s negligence.
When Brooke is not providing zealous representation for her clients, she enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors with her German shorthaired pointer, and cheering on the Dawgs.
